Managing Director

Ouissem Ghorbel


Between January and November 2011, Ouissem served as Chief of staff of the Delegate Tunisian Minister in charge of Economy, Elyes Jouini, and as Director-of-Staff for the Tunisian Minister of Vocational Training and Employment, Said Aidi.
Ouissem previously worked at McKinsey and Company in Paris where he conducted projects with multiple clients in the region in the public, financial, high-tech and industrial sectors.
In 2011, he launched Pacte Tunisien and is a former president of ATUGE both of which are non-governmental organizations.
Ouissem is a graduate of Telecom Paris and participated in an exchange program with Standard Research Institute. He speaks English, French and Arabic.

Karim Mejri


Karim Mejri joined Numu Consulting during 2012. He worked at the Vocational Training and Employment Ministry in 2011 in Tunisia and was in charge of the public recruiting program.
Karim previously worked with Beijaflore and Vinci Consulting in Paris where he acquired a rich experience in management consulting areas: process optimization, project management, IT management and organization. He is highly involved in civil society initiatives. Karim graduated from ENSTA ParisTech and from Paris-Dauphine University. He speaks English, French and Arabic.

Aymen Jaafar


Aymen Jaafar has well rounded cross national topics or performance improvement projects for governments, international donors and private companies, in Maghreb zone. Aymen worked with Valyans Consulting (Arthur D. Little Morocco ) and Ernst & Young Tunisia. He is graduated from SUPAERO and ESC Toulouse. He speaks French, English and Arabic.

Khaled Chtourou


Before joining Numu in 2014, Khaled Chtourou spent more than two years in strategy consulting at Bain & Company (Dubai) working in various practice areas with a particular focus on Public sector, Real estate, Oil & Gas and Energy.
Khaled previously worked in the telecommunications industry in Europe, within the rapidly growing and innovative M2M (machine-to-machine) market. He holds an MBA from INSEAD (2012) and a Master's degree in engineering from ENSEA (France) and from Paris Dauphine University (France). He speaks Arabic (Native), English, French and Italian.

Samar Alsayyed


Samar Alsayyed worked as a corporate finance advisor at Deloitte between January 2007 and April 2014. Samar’s advisory role encompassed advising local and multinational companies on strategic investment and growth decisions.
Samar has her CFA degree and is currently completing her MBA with London Business School. Samar speaks Arabic and English fluently

Analyst

Zakaria Besbes


Zakaria Besbes joined Numu Consulting in November 2014. He was previously working in Europe as a consultant for Factset where he conducted several projects in the banking and asset management area.
Formerly, he also worked in derivatives trading at Société Générale CIB. Zakaria graduated from the University of Paris-Dauphine where he earned a Master degree in finance. He speaks Arabic, French, English and Portuguese.

Analyst

Walid Hizaoui


Walid Hizaoui joined Numu Consulting in October 2014. He previously held multiple internships in the financial industry. He thus has a strong background in investment banking and private equity performance in the MENA region.
Walid also worked as an external consultant for private companies where he acquired rich and diverse experiences in brand management. Additionally, he completed a master’s thesis on the private equity industry in MENA.
He is highly involved in civil society initiatives and has set up 3 associations. Walid graduated from Peking University HSBC Business School and from IHEC business school. He speaks Arabic, French, English and Chinese.

Analyst

Leah Miller


Leah Miller is an Analyst at Numu Consulting. She previously worked for the NGO Search for Common Ground in the private sector with The Prospect Group. Her graduate and undergraduate degrees included extensive Arabic study.
She has a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Rochester. She speaks English, French, and Arabic.

Analyst

Sana Khelifi


Sana Khelifi is an Analyst at Numu Consulting in the Young Professional Program. Since joining Numu in 2014, she worked on projects for an international cooperation organization and for the Tunisian government. These projects addressed economic and social issues nationwide. Prior to joining Numu, she underwent multiple internships in Canada and Tunisia. She is also actively volunteering in civic initiatives.
After ranking 21 out of ~1500 on the National Examination of Entrance to Engineering Schools, Sana was admitted to Tunisia Polytechnic School. She received her engineering degree in Economics and Scientific Management in 2014. She speaks English, French and Arabic.

Benjamin Tabor


Benjamin Tabor is an Analyst at Numu Consulting in the Young Professional Program. He has worked in the MENA region since finishing his studies.
He has several professional experiences with international donor organizations, including the African Development Bank and the European Union, as well as government entities. He has worked extensively on local job creation projects which provided coaching and financing to entrepreneurs.
